Grace Curell, CPA

Tax Manager

“Albert Einstein once said, ‘The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax.’ So many people feel bogged down and stressed out by taxes, and that’s why I want to help them through this process. There is nothing better than sitting down with a client and helping them understand their own tax return and visibly watching that stress dissipate.”

Grace’s Story

Grace develops tax planning strategies for clients, prepares tax returns, and projects future tax burdens. She enjoys her job because she feels she is always learning something new. This is partly, of course, because the tax code is lengthy and complicated, but it also gives her the opportunity to acquire new technology tools and skills which assist in creating innovative, accessible ways to meet her clients’ tax needs. She is grateful for Truepoint’s collaborative, client-centered culture of integrating tax strategy into the overall financial perspective rather than relegating it to the side as an isolated function.

In her free time, Grace is a passionate equestrian who trains inexperienced ponies for horse shows as well as preparing them for children new to riding. She loves to travel, and her goal is always to have visited more countries than her current age. She is working toward her private pilot’s license, so when the weather is nice, you’ll likely find her in a plane or riding a horse.
